Beneficent God, you bless us with an abundance of grace through Jesus your Son. In faith we pray: God of salvation, hear our prayer.

You rescue the needy when they cry: reunite families who are separated by war, political unrest, or disaster.

God of salvation, hear our prayer.

You defend those who have no one to help: uphold emergency aid efforts to those who have need of supplies, medical assistance, and shelter.

God of salvation, hear our prayer.

You crush the oppressor: help us to end terrorism, genocide, and war.

God of salvation, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May God strengthen us by the power of the Holy Spirit to believe in the name of Jesus and to love one another as Jesus commanded. Amen.
