Saving God, in your light we see light. In company with St. Lucy we pray: O God, let all the peoples praise you.

Illumine the hearts of all people so we may protect and reverence life at every stage.

O God, let all the peoples praise you.

Restore the light of faith to those who have suffered violation of their trust.

O God, let all the peoples praise you.

Heal those afflicted with ailments of the eye, and sensitize us to the needs of those who are blind.

O God, let all the peoples praise you.

Our Father . . .

May God accept our sacrifice of a humble heart and lead us to gaze on the beauty of the Lord all our days. Amen
