Ever-living God, we ponder your faithful love and pray: God, in your saving justice, hear our prayer.

Give diligence, compassion, and wisdom to those who hold positions of authority.

God, in your saving justice, hear our prayer.

Gladden the hearts of those who serve the homeless, minister in food kitchens, or stock pantries.

God, in your saving justice, hear our prayer.

Console those who grieve, and help us to walk with one another in our struggles.

God, in your saving justice, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May God strengthen us to love one another with mutual affection and to serve the Lord with good zeal, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
