Vincent de Paul by Simon François de Tours, 17th century. Public domain.

Gracious God, by your love and grace you inspired Vincent to provide for the physical and spiritual needs of the poor. In company with him we pray: God, in your compassion, hear us.

Help us to live more simply and care for the poor.

God, in your compassion, hear us.

Prosper the works of charitable societies, and give success to efforts for societal change.

God, in your compassion, hear us.

Inspire us to reach out to the sick, the lonely, and those who are in nursing facilities.

God, in your compassion, hear us.

Our Father . . .

May God bless us, keep us, and show us mercy in times of trial, through Jesus our Savior. Amen.
