Nurturing God, you made Monica a woman of deep faith and persistent prayer. In company with her we pray: Hear our prayer, O God.

Give all people a deep respect and reverence for motherhood, and strengthen mothers to love and nurture their children well.

     Hear our prayer, O God.

Help us to support those who experience transition or diminishment of mind, body, or spirit.

     Hear our prayer, O God.

Renew and energize those who are recovering from addictions, medical treatment, or surgery.

     Hear our prayer, O God.

Our Father . . .

May we rejoice always in the company of St. Monica and all the holy women who have gone before us, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
