Morning Intercessions

Saint Bernard by Juan Correa de Vivar, ca 1540. Public domain.

God of mystery, through the mystical writings of your servant Bernard we come to greater understanding of the depth of your love. In company with him we pray: Lead us to your light, O God.

Give Pope Francis and all ministers in your Church the gifts of wisdom, understanding, and openness to the Spirit.

Lead us to your light, O God.

Inspire just immigration laws and practices, and safeguard all who are fleeing from danger or seeking a better life.

Lead us to your light, O God.

Strengthen and support health-care workers and all who continue to suffer effects from the pandemic.

Lead us to your light, O God.

Our Father . . .

May God lead us to love tenderly, act justly, and pray always with Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
