Morning Intercessions

You are currently viewing Morning Intercessions

Merciful God of our ancestors, you are the creator and lover of all the living. In trust we pray: God, in your kindness, hear our prayer.

You defend the poor: help your Church to spend our lives in prayer, charity, and witness to the Gospel on behalf of those in need.

God, in your kindness, hear our prayer.

You save the children of the needy: inspire work to address starvation and to ensure healthy food for every child.

God, in your kindness, hear our prayer.

You rescue the oppressed: redeem those who suffer daily because of violence and injustice.

God, in your kindness, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May God show us kindness, remove our blindness, and lead us along the path of justice and peace, through Jesus our brother. Amen.
