Gracious and merciful God, you are forever mindful of your covenant and name Mary as Mother of your Church. In company with her we pray: God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

Mary pondered your Word: shape our hearts by your life-giving Spirit.

God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

Mary believed your promise would be fulfilled in her: deepen our trust and faith in you.

God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

Mary rejoiced in your saving help: unite your Church in love and praise of your holy name.

God, in your wisdom, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May God heal divisions in the Church, guard us in love, and bring us together to everlasting life in Jesus. Amen.
