Gracious God, by the power of your name you save your people. In faith we pray: God, come to our aid.

You delight in your people: help us to meet challenges with humor and grace.

     God, come to our aid.

You adorn the poor with salvation: relieve the suffering of those who live in poverty or fear.

     God, come to our aid.

You rescue the righteous: free those who are unjustly imprisoned or held captive.

     God, come to our aid.

Our Father . . .

May the Lord animate our desire to praise God’s name, now and always. Amen.
