God, Source of Light, you made Mary the mother of Jesus, King of heaven and earth. In joy we pray: God of peace, hear our prayer.

In you all find their home: expand your Church’s support of family life, and deepen the bonds of love within families.

God of peace, hear our prayer.

In Jesus you shepherd us with love: rescue those who suffer domestic abuse, loss of freedom, or threat of violence.

God of peace, hear our prayer.

Your greatness reaches the ends of the earth: still the cries for war, reconcile warring nations, and help all people to live in harmony with one another.

God of peace, hear our prayer.

Our Father . . .

May the peace of God reign in our hearts and in our world, now and always, through Jesus our Savior and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
