Evening Intercessions

Mighty God, your voice is full of power and splendor. Help us to listen to you as we pray: Give strength to your people, O God.

Support health-care personnel, scientists, and all who work in the front line of COVID-19.

Give strength to your people, O God.

Help us to protect the Amazon rainforest, and make us steadfast in our search to restore our sense of kinship with the earth.

Give strength to your people, O God.

Prune away all that keeps us from beholding one another with a sincere love.

Give strength to your people, O God.

Our Father . . .

May the God of hope fill us with joy and peace through Christ, by the creating power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
