Evening Intercessions

Maker of heaven and earth, you are the praise of all who call upon you. In hope we pray: Teach us to love, O God.

You give food to the hungry: strengthen efforts to end hunger, provide for the homeless, and advocate for nutrition programs.

Teach us to love, O God.

You secure justice for the oppressed: inspire actions to uphold the cause of the poor and to defend those who lack power.

Teach us to love, O God.

You protect strangers: lead refugees, immigrants, and migrants to places of safety and welcome.

Teach us to love, O God.

Our Father . . .

May God pour the love of Jesus into our hearts and enrich our lives with every gift of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
