God, our deliverer, with you all things are possible. In faith we pray: Re-create us by your love, O God.  

Open our eyes to the beauty of creation, and animate us to care for the earth in new ways.  

Re-create us by your love, O God.  

Heal divisions among people, and help us to live together in peace.

Renew the spirits of those who experience failure.  

Re-create us by your love, O God.  

Our Father . . .  

May God make us firm in faith, steadfast in love, and untiring in love, in Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sr. Susan Barber, OSB

Sister Susan Barber, OSB, is a member of the Benedictine Community of Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, KS. She received a master’s degree in Music from UMKC and a master’s degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Susan is currently the community’s liturgist. She is one of the community’s main organists and pianists. Susan graduated from Souljourners in 2018 and offers retreats at Sophia.
