Morning Intercessions

God of the poor, your Spirit bore fruit in your servant St. John of God’s love for the poor. In company with him we pray: O God, come to our aid.

Empower your Church to help remove the obstructions of poverty, ensure good education for the young, and be present to those who are suffering.

O God, come to our aid.

Animate celebrations for International Women’s Day, and help us advance recognition of the political, social, economic, and cultural achievements of women.

O God, come to our aid.

Protect the dignity and well-being of those who are in nursing homes, care facilities, or hospitals.

O God, come to our aid.

Our Father . . .

May the Spirit of God be our hope through the day and guide us along the everlasting way, in Jesus, our Shepherd. Amen.
