Evening Intercessions

God, our refuge and help in times of trouble, you love righteous deeds. In hope we pray: God of peace, strengthen us in love.

Prosper the aid of Catholic and social service agencies, and animate us to show appreciation to volunteers.

God of peace, strengthen us in love.

Inspire us to embody Gandhi’s instruction to live simply so that others may simply live.

God of peace, strengthen us in love.

Transform misunderstandings into opportunities for reconciliation, reverence, and appreciation for difference.

God of peace, strengthen us in love.

Our Father . . .

May the God of our ancestors bless our coming and our going and lead us to share in the inheritance of Christ, in company with one another and all the saints. Amen.
