Loving God, your maternal care surrounds us always. We praise you for the gift of life and pray:  Creating God, come to our aid.

Transform the hearts of all people to honor the unborn and to guard their right to life.

Creating God, come to our aid.

Advance efforts to provide health-care resources and counseling to pregnant teenagers.

Creating God, come to our aid.

Animate fruitful dialogue, understanding, and collaboration within the Council of Churches.

Creating God, come to our aid.

Our Father . . .

May God direct our steps toward respect for all life and show us how to live with one another in charity and peace, through our brother Jesus, born of Mary. Amen.
